I get really irritated when people talk over-obsessively about money and spending.  While I realize that some cultures tend to highly prioritize saving money (my culture included), it's really a gauche to mention it all the time.  It's one thing if you're enduring financial hardships and are struggling to make ends meet, but it's another thing to talk about it over and over again because you're cheap.  We all have bills to pay, and things to save up for, so get over yourself.
