God smiled on David and Winnie

It called for rain on Saturday, and it was a little damp while we were in the church. There was still lots of happiness and excitement in the air. David, Jakub and I waited in the wooden 'waiting room' at Grace on the Hill church sipping cold water from an old fashioned water carafe. David was slightly nervous...more about the waiting than anything else, but Jakub and I managed to calm him down as we joked around. Through the large frosted windows, we could hear Winnie arriving, but David didn't peek.
I went out to see Winnie and she looked BEAUTIFUL in her white dress and....green shoes!

Finally we were called into the sanctuary...it was time!
Jakub and I stood by the groom and watched Winnie walk down the aisle.




There were no tears as they read their handwritten vows to eachother. They were both so happy to be marrying eachother.

And it really showed!

And when we went outside, God created the most beautiful sunny day for these two special people that he loves so much.




At the tea ceremony, I welcomed my new sister to the family.
