Human Rights Watch International Film Festival

This week Human Rights Watch is featuring a week-long film festival featuring documentaries to raise awareness for various human rights issues from around the world.   I went to Sunday‘s screening of 'We'll Never Meet Childhood Again', which is a sad but heartwarming documentary about orphans living with HIV/AIDS in Romania.  If you’re interested in films and/or human rights issues, and you live in Toronto you might want to check out some screenings:

I really wanted to see Taxi to the Dark Side, which actually won an Oscar and got rave reviews.  Unfortunately it’s sold out.
