Breaking news:
After only a few days in jail, Paris is serving the rest of her sentence at home!

Who doesn't have an opinion on this matter. It was all over the news this morning.Poor thing... she had a nervous breakdown. yadda yadda yadda.Something is seriously wrong with the American justice system if a spoiled rich celebrity can serve the rest of her jail sentence in her luxe mansion after only 3 days in jail just because she was starving herself. Is she seriously the only inmate to have suffered a nervous breakdown in her first few days in the slammer? Why didn't she get sent to the psych ward like every other inmate?

I think it's stupid they put her in jail in the first place. Sure, it was irresponsible of her to have ignored her legal infractions and she needed to learn a lesson, but jail was a little extreme. They obviously wanted to make an example of her because of who she is.

Regardless of the punishment, celebrities shouldn't get special treatment just because they're rich and famous. Paris was lucky enough to get her own cell separated from the rest of the convicts.

If she is sentenced to go to jail in the first place, then at least make her serve her term like everyone else. I'd like to hear mercy stories like this from ordinary citizens.
