Weekend was fun. Friday night, I went out with the regular salsa addicts to Yonge and Eglinton for sushi, then to Acrobat Lounge. This other girl and I practiced leading eachother and swapping turns. We discussed what to dress up as for the halloween party....and contemplated coming as drag queens. LOL. On second thought, I don't think i will enjoy dancing in 7 inch platforms and body hosery. (re: El Convento Rico) I think I will be Athena this year...Goddess of wisdom and war.

Saturday I did some clothes shopping with my mom, and in the evening went out for dinner with Mandy and Charlene. We ended up at Char's house afterward, watching Dancing with the Stars and chatting.
Sunday Sharl and I went out to get groceries and a key lime pie for Tristan's birthday. We went to Chinatown for nice leisurely Chinese dinner...non stop eating and rounds of beer and Sake.

Sharl and I made this for dinner last night. We had baked trout and cajun shrimp with coconut & pineapple rice and mixed vegetables. It was really yummy!
Tomorrow I'm having my family over for dinner and we're going to have meatloaf with mashed potatoes, beets & green beans. A nice homestyle dinner. Sharl and I pre-made the meatloaf tonight so tomorrow all i'll have to do is put it in the oven and prepare the side dishes. Can't wait to taste it!
