Wednesday night, I was walking down Queen Street on Wednesday to buy some silk for my cheung sam, and I saw this furniture store with sale signs in the window. Just curious, I went inside to take a look around and I saw this dining room table:

I thought it was a perfect fit for our condo, so I bought it right away. The guy at the store said that he could even deliver it for me THAT same night free of charge....so now we officially have a dining room! :)

Friday night, i had a little cocktail party at our place, since Sharl was away in Monteal. Charlene, Dan and Marissa came over and we had some appies and wine, and we went to sit up on the roof to hang out and enjoy the "urban beauty." Was a good time. Afterward, Charlene, Dan and I headed out to a salsa club where some of my friends from dance were in a performance. We got there a bit late though, and just missed it...:( I did get a chance to see Sharon do her birthday dance with everyone there. She is so awesome. After some dancing and twirling and chatting with friends, we left and crashed at my place.

Saturday night, I had a family dinner at Mandy's for her mom's birthday. There was SO MUCH food... roast pig, duck, grilled shrimp, salad...I ate so much food. Then her cousins danced the bachata with us around the pool until we were throroughly attacked by mosquitoes. Mandy's family is sooooo lively and fun. Her mom, uncle and cousins were so cute and were dancing around the pool to these Indian songs. Was such a good time. They are such a great extended family!!
