it didn't rain this afternoon after all...

After finding out Colleen and I work for the same company, I successfully search-stalked her contact info on the company directory, and finally met up with her after work. She hadn't seen me since I had short punky hair, and i hadn't seen her since she was cussing out random strangers at the mall..........basically things had not changed...except now i have long hair and Colleen has yet another cool purse. We went for drinks on some patio in the gaudy entertainment district with my friend Kurt and his posse. We all shared drinks, dinner and pinchy comments and laughs, and I thoroughly enjoyed another of many summer patio sessions and hanging out with everyone.

Slightly rosy, I hopped on the streetcar home to Sharl and lured him away from his computer games to play with me. We hung out for a couple hours and then Jen came over! Jen and I ended up having a really nice talk in her car. This is one intellectual and funny and sweet woman, and I had really missed hanging out with her while she was busy finishing up exams.

I don't know how i fit so many activities into one night, but it was definitely a fun Thursday. I've just showered and put on pj's and now i feel mellowed out. Tomorrow the weekend begins. I can't wait.
