A day in the life

Though the weather has been crappy and vacations are over and I have a ton of stuff to do at work, I have been in the best mood this week. I'm glad to be back at work and on the GO. I have a job I like in the city I love.

After work, I had an extra skip in my step because I knew I was meeting some girlfriends for dinner at Spring Rolls. Mandy and I arrived earlier than the rest and we sipped a few cocktails and caught up on gossip and jokes. When Karly, Jen and Carol arrived, we ordered food and picked off of eachothers' different pad thai dishes to sample the difference between House, Unique Satay and Curry pad thai noodles SANS corriander. They were all delicious, of course, and the company was cheery and fun.

The rain didn't dampen my spirits as we walked to Union, as Mandy and I spent the entire time laughing and annunciating ghetto speak on the Go Bus all the way home.

This is a cross-section view of how I spend a normal work week. And this is why i am glad to be back. And, I'm SO happy to have Mandy back to be an important part of it all.
