This is what it's like being one of the only women in an IT department full of men.
"What do you do here? Are you a highschool student?"
"You look like you spend every weekend at the beach."
"You change your hairstyle and clothes so often. I'm should take your picture everyday."
"What's your sign?" (I laughed at this one. I told him that I don't think anyone has EVER seriously used that line before.)
"The coffee you just made is the best coffee I've ever tasted in my life." (huh? I just put in a pre-measured filter and pressed, 'brew' like everyone else does.)
Aside from the comments and the stares, being a young woman has it's perks. Walking by my desk, a co-worker noticed that I was squinting while looking at the computer screen, and less than an hour later, he hooked me up with a sweeeeeeet LARGE LCD monitor.
