My mom's in Montreal on a business trip. Our fridge is in a sad state. Today I was trying to make myself a cup of coffee, and there was neither sugar nor milk.

Revenez bientôt maman!

I got suckered into talking to some Jehova's Witnesses today (why does that look like it's spelled wrong?) They knew me by name! It was so freaky. They always send the nicest looking people...this one looked like a grandma. She schpealed on about the day of destruction and handed me a pamphlet. I told her that I was a Christian and that I already knew Jesus. She told me that it was good but we'd better start being good otherwise we would not inherit the earth. She quoted a bible passage at me.
"The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever" (Psalms 37:29)

And I quoted one back!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2: 8-9)

I couldn't believe it came into my head like that.
Guess those memory versus in Sunday school saved the day.
