I had a lovely surprise tonight.
I just got back from volleyball practice and I was on my bed looking through some of my Cuba picutres, when a big freak jumps in my room and says "boo!!"
It was my little Sharlito!!!
I was surpirsed that he had come home from work so early.
He came to take me out for dinner.
We went to Sushei Tei for Japanese food. It was really sweet. We ate such good food. I love eating good food and sharing the moment with people I love. Nothing brings people closer together than enjoying oneself over good food.
Afterward, we went to get bubble tea for dessert. Everytime I order bubble tea takeout, I ask for a menu. Even though I know that my order will be the same as always: Honeydew green tea with milk and tapioca pearls. I just love looking at menues. They are so colorful and so fun and they give so many options of goodness. Sometimes I read menues to be seduced by their descriptions of food. Like pizza flyers from 341 or Dominoes, or LeBiftek Steak coupons that come in the mail. Sometimes Sharl will tell me some food descriptions of new dinner features at the Keg for my bedtime story over the phone. I love food.
And I love my Sharlito.
Today was a great day.
