Today I had a little blast from the past.
My old friend, Kelly, from grade one randomly msn'd me, and we ended up talking on the phone for over an hour afterward. It was really nice catching up. Now I really hafta get off my ass and plan a reunion for Nadia, Jen, Marissa, Vanessa, Kelly and me to meet up.
I can't wait. It is going to be so much fun! I'm such a sucker for nostalgia.
Went to v-ball practice tonight. My arm hurts from serving so much. I didn't get to play because I can't commit to the game tomorrow and there were only 8 of us that showed up at practice. So 2 of us ended up serving the whole time to the other side. I hope tutorial isn't important tomorrow so I can go to the game.
L emailed me today. It was heartwarming to hear that she misses me. I hope that she can come join my small group dinner party on Thursday. I invited her so that she could catch up with other friends who she hasn't seen in a while either. On Sunday, I prayed for an opportunity to outreach. Maybe this is it.
It appears that I have spawned a disturbance with regards to my Berlin Wall comment. YES. It's sad but true. THere are actual people that I work with who are THAT uninformed about the world.
Today I watched reality TV. OMG. I did. well it was on in the background cause my brother and his friend were watching it while I was trying to write my essay. It was called My Big Fat Obnoxious Fianc?, and man was it ever funny. That guy was the biggest piece of work I've ever seen. His family was hillarious too. That idiot girl thinks this whole thing is real, when the joke is really all on her.. Ah well.. she'll get a million.. I don't really feel sorry for her.
