In preparation for my trip to Cuba, I am collecting various Spanish phrases that could be useful to me when I am stuck for ways to communicate. Aside from the singsong jingle Sesame Street utilized in teaching me how to count from one to ten in spanish, I have compiled the following list of phrases that I can use..(mind you.. I have not filtered through the words or phrases that could potentially get me beat up or worse, sent back home on grounds fordisrespecting their culture):

Arrrrriva!!
Ay carramba!!
Yo quierro Taco Bell
Guacomole, salsa, quesadilla, tequilla
(okay.. food doens't count)
Andele andele mama ia ia uh-oh (Nelly style)
Ehhh.. mama sita!
Ehhh...papi chulo!
Essay.. tu es muchos locos
Y tu mama tambien
(okay.. so that's a movie title)
Why you flinch puta?? (courtesy of the columbian dude from the movie Shaft)

An important phrase I learned from my wise friend Melanie:

"Marrying me will not make you a Canadian citizen"

If any of you readers wish to enrich my education, please feel free to leave phrases that you know in Spanish that I could add to my repetoire. As you can see, it's very limited.
