I was finishing up my closing shift at work when a girl from one of my tables asked me:

Girl: Hi... sorry to bother you but can I ask you a question?"
Me: Sure.
Girl: Did you use to go out with a guy named X?
Me: Uhhh.. yeah, why do you ask?
Girl: hehe.. its kinda funny, but I recognize you from AA
Me: HUH?? (OMG.. i am suddenly very embarassed X is such an AA celebrity. And his fans know who I am.)
Girl: X is friends with my brother V.
Me: Ohhhh.. yeh.. I am friends with V's girlfriend.
Girl: I know I've never met you before, but he (points to her bf across the table) recognizes you. He goes to UTM too.
Me: ohh.. I see.. cool (how do they know I go to UTM??)..mkay.. well, if you guys are done with your plates, I can take them out of your way, and get you a dessert menu.
Girl: Oh thanks...and it was nice meeting you.
Me: Yup. Same. Cheers!

They left me a good tip.
