The Art Gallery of Ontario is not open Mondays.
This information would have been helpful had I logged on to the AGO website before I found myself downtown tugging at all of the possible doors around the building.

K: Excuse me, um.. where are the front doors located exactly?
Woman in cafe: The art gallery is not open today. You can still eat at the cafeteria though.

I do not want to eat. I want to finish this friggin gallery assignment.

Having wasted my afternoon, I decided to boost my spirits with a peppermint mochaccino from Starbucks.
Of all the cups in the tall stack on the counter, the one that was chosen for me was leaky. As I paid my $3.68, the girl handed me my drink, spilling dark chocolate coffe down the front of my white jacket.
DAmmit.
Just as the ball of rage started to boil, I looked up at the cashier.
She was just a student trying to do her job, probably with a million things on her mind, having a crappy day just like me.
I told her not to worry about it, and politely asked her to direct me to the restrooms.
The stains came out no problem.
