Every morning, my dog curls up next to my cheek, the duvet is warm and fluffy, BT is playing in the background prompting me to wake up as I pull the covers up to my chin and try to squeeze in a few more minutes of sleep.  And then I hear the showers turn off.  Seconds later, bright and chipper Sharl bounds in to the room to wake me up.  He gets the dog hyper so that she joins in and bounces and jumps all over me, wagging her tail and panting in an excited frenzy.  I loathe him during these moments.

I'm grumpy in the morning and Sharl is happy.  This irritates me.  At night, I have a hard time settling down and want to stay up late while Sharl dozes off unashamedly in mid-conversation. We couldn't be more opposite.

However, as much as I frown at him in the mornings while waking up and getting ready for work, his happy energy seems to catch up with me by the time I get to the office and now I'm in a good mood.

I'm going horseback riding on Saturday!! I'm excited.  I'll get to kick my heels together and yell, "HYA HYA!!"

And I'm also to Woofstock on Sunday.

A weekend full of animals...could it get any better?
