Every time I get into a taxi, the cabbie guaranteed to be talking on a cellphone the ENTIRE time.  Who are they talking to all night? Their wives? Their kids? Eachother?

I find it odd, but I guess there is nothing else to do while roaming the streets all night long.

However, I've come to realize that it has it's pitfalls.  Like last night, when I got in the cab, the driver continued to talk on the phone while I was giving directions to my appartment. And then when I told him to turn left at the lights, I felt like I was trying to search for a lull in his murmuring as to not disrupt his conversation to let me out.  On top of it all....when I asked for $12 change, he handed me 2 fives and 2 loonies.  Only later I realized, one of the "loonies" was not a loonie at all but was actually some strange Czech Republic coin worth about 10 cents!

This is the SECOND time i've received NON-Canadian coins back from cab drivers (all chatting on cellphones).
Customer service has really gone down in the TDot.
