60 more sleeps

I had my first official milestone to help me ease into my wedding festivities: a bridal shower. My aunt threw it for me at her home in Kingston. My Grandma, Great aunt and cousins came from Montreal, and I drove up with a bunch of girlfriends from Toronto with my mom and my mom's friend. It was a lovely party, and I must say, I was so overwhelmed at everyone's generosity. They all put in a lot of work and love to make this occasion special. I have THE best family and friends.


When I came home, I told Sharl all about the party and about the food and the gifts and the stories. He listened to me and kept looking at me with his kind face. The best part of the whole event was that it captured in outward celebration the inner excitement in my heart. I can't believe I get to start my life with him so soon. :) I thank God for all of this.
