Last night I had a hot date! We were both in good moods, so it made the night super fun. I love how we can make each other laugh by matching our weirdness.
We ate at the Keg for dinner, and I had scallops with bacon, and steak with shrimp. Oohhh so yummy. I felt spoiled like a princess!
Later, since no good movies were playing (what is with that anyway??) we went to my house. I really appreciated that he suggested coming over…it meant a lot to me. It showed me that he really is trying for me, and that he really did want to spend time with me no matter what we were doing. We ended up playing a board game, which was quite fun, cause I won! Hehe…
I had missed Sharl all weekend and the dénouement couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Today was nice too. We had a nice quiet evening in watching movies and enjoying each other’s company. Sometimes the little comments that Sharl says mean so much to me. I feel so blessed that I’ve found someone who makes me feel so special. I’d always seen the way that my dad holds my mom in the highest regard, and how he thinks so fondly of her. All the time, my dad says that he is so lucky to have found her. I’d always prayed that I’d find someone who would love and respect me as much as my dad loves my mom, for that’s the example I’ve learned from and hope to find with the person I marry. After 25 years of marriage, I want to be as in love as I am now, and to have that person to be the one whom I can trust with my life…because I’m going to give my entire heart to that person, and to always think of him and love him before myself. So when I see Sharl look at me the way he does, with such love and admiration, I know in my heart that I will be ready to give him all of me, and expect the same from him.
